1998 C5 literally Corvette barn find... worth the hassle

found this C5 coupe in a barn locally. stored since 2015. 45k miles. paint is faded but all original. owner passed away and his family wants it gone for $6,000. needs tires and fluids... deal or headache?

Change all fluids (oil, coolant, diff, trans) and check the fuel tank. Sitting literally since 2015 means the gasoline has turned to varnish and will clog your injectors. 🙌😮‍💨

for $6k, buy it immediately. the ls1 engine alone is worth a decent chunk, and 45k miles is incredibly low 🤦‍♂️💸

Check the tire date codes before you try to drive it home, those tires are dry rotted for sure 💀

Check for mice damage in da wiring harness. They love chewing on GM soy-based insulation, which can cause phantom electrical issues that are a nightmare to trace
